I totally neglected our front porch this Summer. We lived in the backyard and never gave it much thought. (Sorry neighbors.) Over the last few weeks I checked things off the list and brought this space back to life.
I picked up everything I needed from Walmart and worked on it whenever I had a little free time. I started by dyeing our daybed cushion covers with black RIT dye. They turned out this deep charcoal color and I am so happy with them I wish I would have done it sooner.
I also grabbed a few fall flowers because our annuals had seen better days. After a good scrub down I put everything back together and scrolled through Walmart's new Fall line. I found these striped throw pillows that were recommended by Domino Magazine and this great throw blanket. The pillows have a really nice texture and come with the insert. The throw happened to be the perfect compliment to our new cushion color.
This is probably the last shot of the cacti we'll see until Spring. The nights are dipping into the 30's already so it's time for them to come in. I'll load this table up with pumpkins and maybe grab a fall wreath to hang where the Staghorn is. I found a great look-a-like for this outdoor table and for just about everything else on our front porch and rounded them up below. They have some cool inexpensive outdoor light fixtures and the best price on a swing chair I think I've ever seen!

I found a few items from the indoor line as well if you are looking to bring those Fall vibes inside. When I decorate for Fall its more of a mood I'm going for. Tones and textures always set that mood for me. Think warm colors, wood and rattan textures, and a little pop of black always goes a long way. That black throw is $24 and would be a beautiful layer for Fall and Winter!

Have a great weekend!
