It's high time I share some inspiration around here and boy do I have a good one for you today! Meet Mandi Johnson of @Mandimakes. Mandi is making over her house room by room in what I can only describe as modern day 70's. Like a blast from the past in the freshest way. All those great 70's tones with a little modern and a little boho mixed in. Not only does she envision and design her spaces, she tackles it all DIY style. Like that tufted wall and bench above- Mandi made it. And the shelves you see below in her kitchen- she made them. I'm telling ya, there's nothing she can't do. Mandi is currently finishing up her foyer which I am dying to see. You'll get a peek of the gorgeous tile below but I'm waiting on her kitschy animal gallery wall that will be going up soon. You know I have a soft spot for those weird little touches that make a house a home! Not only does Mandi make human size spaces incredible, now she's dipping into the miniature world, creating the coolest doll house furniture and accessories you've ever seen!

Find Mandi's Instagram here, her blog here, and her miniature account here.

I'm not in the habit of breaking and entering but if I were I'd start at Courtney's of Cocollected. Thank God I don't know where she lives. Courtney's home is a little bit museum, a little bit hoarder (in the best way) and a whole lot collected. Mostly thrifted or found through Ebay, Craigslist or estate sales - the Woman has an eye for the good stuff. She once captioned a photo, "I'd rather be overwhelmed than underwhelmed". Ain't that the truth.

If Maximilism isn't your taste that's ok, there is still so much to learn here! Take a few cues from Courtney about vignettes, grouping like items, the value of throwing something strange into the mix, gallery walls, tablescapes...the list goes on. I guarantee you the longer you spend staring at these photos, the more you'll learn. The thing I love the most about Courtney is that she knows what she likes and she's taking it ALL THE WAY. No wavering, no apologies, take it or leave it. If that isn't inspiring I don't know what is.

Follow Cocollected on Instagram here and shop her Chairish site here to start or add to your own collection.

Carley Summers - it's not the first time you've heard me say her name and it certainly won't be the last. A Photographer and Interior Stylist Supreme, Carley ranks high on my list of must follows. A Woman after my own collected loving heart. She has a way of mixing vintage pieces, family heirlooms and old/new styles like no other. Her vintage art collection is to die for and her love of Morocco is apparent throughout her home. Anytime I need styling inspiration I turn to Carley, so much to learn in every photograph.

Her work as an Interior Stylist and her photography have graced the pages of countless online and in print magazines. The photos below are all of Carley's abode but you can find more of her work on her website here and her Instagram account here. I highly recommend checking out her portfolio on her website to see some of the incredible spaces she's styled and photographed. The inspiration never ends.
