Today we are meeting Rachael and Kristin of Holistic Habitat, an online shop run by two friends. Technically categorized as a "Small Shop" it's not so small at all and neither is the impact they are making. Kristin and Rachael have curated a fairly large selection of all things global, vintage and new. They have an eye for the fun and unique items of the world, little bits to jazz up your place without hurting your wallet.
The bonus is that they are also a give back company who currently donate 15% of their profits to scholarships for children in Guatemala. The scholarships allow these children to go to private school, giving them an accredited degree. These schools give the kids an opportunity to be trilingual, access to computers and guarantees them 2 meals day. Holistic Habitat currently sponsors 4 children and one young woman in medical school. They hope to grow their impact and branch out to other causes in the future.
